Moira Dalrymple

Moira has considerable experience in working with financial and administrative settings; having worked in banking several times throughout her career, and in the Finance and Wages Department at the Borders Health Board. has also worked in a number of roles supporting vulnerable people and their families, having experience as an OT Assistant and having worked in a number of Care Homes for elderly residents. Working in a pivotal role alongside the manager, Moira helped to create and develop a Day Centre and Respite Services in a residential home in Stonehaven.

She was able to use both of these skill-sets during her time at Support for Ordinary Living. She worked in the payroll and general admin teams, and then held the position of Resource Co-ordinator. In this latter post she supported team managers by keeping finance and staff records (including rotas and timesheets) up-to-date, producing reports and running training on policies and procedures for staff.

More recently she took some time off work to care for her mum and mother-in-law in their final years. She now splits her time between providing administrative support to Radical Visions, and looking after her hilarious granddaughter, Hannah. When she has time left over she enjoys cooking, baking, travelling, reading and swimming.
